In-Shoe Foot Pressure Measurements

At Revive Motional Health in addition to being in a modern state of the art clinic we are fortunate enough to be able to utilise modern technology to help assist in the diagnosis and management of many foot and lower leg complaints.

One of these technologies is an In-shoe Foot Pressure Measurement system called ParoTec. These insoles which we can insert into any type of footwear have 64 points where a small sensor measures how much force (in Newtons) is being placed across the bottom of both feet with different activities; the most common of course being standing, walking and running; and this is then reviewed on our computer system.

Using this information in combination with a thorough subjective and objective assessment puts us in a great position to be able to assist you in rehabilitating an injury and assessing the effectiveness of particular interventions like padding, orthoses and footwear.
